...with my computer before the bid ends.. help please? i have a Dell Optiplex Gx280.. i found a site that says my computer is compatible with a PC2-3200 (DDR2-400) chip. the one i want to buy is a "512MB stick of Samsung PC2-3200 non-ECC DDR2 RAM"...i have no idea what any of these numbers mean so if you could just tell me if it fits within about the next 60 minutes i would be gratefulthanks

Hi,What you need to know is whether the RAM you have, is ECC (Error Correcting Code) or not, since mixing the ECC and non-ECC together is a no-go. Otherwise, the ones you describe are just fine, and (if you have non-ECC RAM already installed on your computer) will work fine on your Optiplex.Regards,TK
