Carbon's right, that post was completely stupid, he's been doing that a lot recently.

Quad doesn't actually make a difference unless you're doing loads and loads or really taxing stuff, simultaneously.

You're better off (for you) spending the extra money on a faster Dual, than a slower per core Quad.

Yeah, we had an influx of people bumping (mostly old) posts with really unhelpful stuff but they seem to be all banned now so back to normal.

Yeah, I've noticed, I seem to have spent a while today telling people to ignore something, rather than telling them what should be done! (Although of course, adding that in as a bonus )
