Default Info on A7N8X 2 MBoard hard drive connections

Hi i have the above MotherBoard with an IDE hard drive. I just wanted to know if i could add a second larger hard drive (SATAII) to this motherboard. Or are they incompatible?

Thank you

There are a few different versions of that board, all the ones I checked (About 5) support SATA no problem.

Many thanks for yur fast reply.
Is there any way i can determine if my hard drive is one of those 5 variations? Also since the drive i am looking at is a SATA 2 drive, will that be backward compatible with the older specification?
Thanks again

The board supports both IDE and SATA.

So any IDE or SATA or SATA2 drive will be fine.
