Hi,
I built my computer a little over 2 years ago and it has always run cool and without problems. Today a warning flashed up from the Intel desktop utilities program, saying that the CPU vccp was out of range. I wish I had written down the numbers it gave - but instead I opened the program. The voltages in the utilities program were fine. I closed the program, and that was the last I heard from it. I am concerned because I don't want to damage my CPU, and because I am financially dependant on daily use of my computer. I have never seen this message before. My computer has not been overclocked or altered from normal usages in any way. Thank you for your help. Specs: CPU INTEL Core2Duo E6600 2.4G MB INTEL BOXDP965LTCK P965 Silverstone SST-ST56ZF Zeus Series 560W 560 Watt Power Supply XP SP3 Current vccp reading: 1.167-1.223 |

Don't worry about it unless you get the message again.
