Hello,
Yet again one of my PC building problems.
I have to get a CPU and I can get an Intel E7200 for $160 or an AMD Athlon X2 6000+ for $150 or an AMD X3 Phenom 8450 for $150. For AMD I would be getting this motherboard
Asus M2N68-AM

for intel

MSI G31M3-F

this computer will be used for gaming and other computer nerd stuff

P.S. I have heard that the intel E7200 can be overclocked to 5.0GHz

Please help.

The E7200 is the best out of the lot. I've heard it being pushed past 4GHz with water cooling, but not of 5GHz.
3.8 or so with stock cooling should be possible.

But it depends on your other parts as well and I don't know what they are and I don't know how good that motherboard is for overclocking.

Yea, E7200 would be the best CPU, however I don't recommend that motherboard, a P45, or P43 is your short of cash, would be better.
