i hav just done my first build xD it hasnt blown up yet so i assume everything is ok
does anyone know what temp the E8500 should be at? normal
i hav a tuniq tower cooling it (big buggar, hard to work around it)
one programe i have used before ...

![]() does anyone know what temp the E8500 should be at? normal i hav a tuniq tower cooling it (big buggar, hard to work around it) one programe i have used before is core temp but it seems to not move from 42C i had a short glane at my temp in the bios and it said 28C i loaded another programe and it said 37C (cant rememmber if it moved) systool so which one is right?!?!?! anyother programes surgested? thanks Craiig// cpu : Intel E8500 mobo : Asus Striker II Formular PSU : Enermax Galaxy 1000W HFS : Tuniq Tower Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound! It's all good. I use Intel's Thermal Analysis Tool. At load (you can load the processor in TAT) it should be no more than 65C.
