Hiya Everone!

I have Got myself in a confusing state with which motherboard i can use with which processor.

I have the Abit Fatal1ty FP IN9 Motherboard socket 775 which supports hyper - threading technology.

I just bought the Intel Pentium D820 Dual core processor socket 775 but it dosent support hyper threading- technology

Can anyone tell me if these parts are compatible with eachother. Any replies will be much appreciated. Thanx

If the motherboard supports hyper threading but the processor doesn't then they should be absolutely fine together in theory. You could double check with somebody else but I don't see any reason why they shouldn't work.

It supports all Intel dual core processors all the way down to Pentium 4 so ya yours will work great on it.
