...question? Which processor it''s faster.Intel core 2 duo, 1.66ghz, or Intel core duo 1.73ghz.If your answer is the Intel Core duo 1.73ghz, why? then the Core 2 Duo it's more expensive.Thanks for tour explanations

Default Intel processors experts let me ask you a...

The Core2 is the 'faster' chip due to it's architecture, its not all about mhz.

Less pipeline stages, and wider data/per clock transfer.

The core duo is basically just 2 pentium M's stuck together, pretty much the same as the p4 8** series is just 2 p4 single core's stuck together. It was never optimised as a dual-core cpu.
