Hi to you all, my daughter has been using my old nforce4-a939 computer for school, unfortunately the io shield/backplate is missing and i'm worried about her hurting herself, i am desperately trying to ontain a replacement, i have tried to contact the manufacturer who i believe is 'elite group' but they seem very hard to contact, could anybody point me in the right direction to obtaining this spare part? And yes i've tried ebay. Cheers johnny

The plates are normally supplied with the motherboard, so apart from the motherboard maker and eBay there isn't much else. The plates are pretty much motherboard model specific.

If you are worried about electric shock, it's pretty unlikely as all the ports and circuitry on the mobo are max 12volt.

Why not try cutting a piece of cardboard to shape until you find the replacement?
