Exclamation Mobo Issue?

I had built a computer several months ago. It was running Windows XP Home edition until upgraded to Vista. The system ran fine until I installed another Harddrive and another Gig of RAM. After installing I turned on my pc and the computer itself runs but there is no boot or loading screens. I have tried several monitors and sent my video card in to be replaced yet still has not corrected the issue. Also have tried taking out the newly installed harddrive and RAM. So I come to believe it could be the Motherboard. If any one has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.

Specs:
Motherboard: Abit KN9 (not series)
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon X1300Pro
Two gigs of RAM (two 512MB and one Gig.)
AMD Dual Core Processor
200Gig Harddrive and 500Gig Harddrive
Vista Ultimate Operating System

Default Mobo Issue?

Sounds like mobo or possibly a PSU.

Have you a spare PSU you can try first?

What HDD are you booting from?

Make sure you are booting from your original one.

That's if you can get to BIOS.

Default Mobo Issue?

Sorry I was assuming that the PC doesn't even post...

Do you see anything on the screen when you power it on?

Default Mobo Issue?

When I start it the screen is black but everything seems to be running fine. IE the fans, lights, and the PSU seems fine since we disconnected all the new stuff and some other stuff and stil the same issue. Also tried several other monitors. We are sending our motherboard to be fixed tomorrow but any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

I'd try swapping the motherboard if it is not posting or making any beeps.
