Once you clean both surfaces with isopropyl, place a strip in the middle across both cores horizontally, with the arrow on the chip pointing down and to the left.

Guide on applying (.pdf!)

I've found that the supplied paste on the AC7 pro is pretty good (it might even be Arctic silver as they are made by the same people) as my over clocked (voltage also increased) CPU still only runs at about 27C idle on both cores. 45C max at load.

Ahh thingie, mine is not that low.

So i have the Artic Cooling 7 installed and i put in the thin line of Artic Silver 5 on it like the instructions stated.

I'm running a bit cooler, but not in the 30s for sure!!

RIght now i'm hitting max of 59/53/52/48
The Mins are 47/38/43/43

so it's better than before but not in the 30s that's for sure.... well just one of them is :)

Well mine is only a duel core, so will be cooler, but those temps look much better. Have you tried using a stability program to get your CPU to 100% for a while to check max temps?

No i haven't tried doing that yet.
What i do is put this game on and see how hot it gets. I had been hitting 100 with that game on.
So i'll give that a try again.

What's the name of the program anyways??

I used Intelburn. You can find it here: http://www.ultimate-filez.com/

There is a thread on this site that talks about it here: http://www.computer-juice.com/forums...program-19010/

My first link though is to the updated Intelburn, 1.7
