Yea, Bubba, if your not going to try and help with any of it, stay out of it, if you don't want to spend time on it, don't read the replies.

Thingie, it ain't worth the time bro.

You guys have been SUPER helpful to me and i'm really grateful for that.
I've been using the computer pretty roughly since then and the temps have stayed within reasonable amounts. It must've been just one odd reading at one time or a faulty reading.
The CPU and the cores all remain before 60 now which is good from what you guys have told me. So i'm not going to stress about it any further!! :)

Now all i have to do is find some wicked games to play!!

Command and Conquer here i come!!

Any ones you guys recommend??

Glad your happy now.

Are meaning games that I would recommend? if it is, try supreme commander, it's similar to C&C but in my opinion is better, but requires much more PC power.

Yeah i love games like C&C but haven't been able to find anything similar to it which is as much fun. I'll give Supreme Commander a try and report back to you :)

Red Alert 3 is due to be released end of the month, so i'm really looking forward to that too.

Yea, me too, I was meant to have got a beta test key because I bought the command and conquer expansion, but I never received anything which I'm a little peeved about. But I'll get the demo when it's available.

Yep. I'm always shining lol. Maybe i didn't express myself as well as I could have. I have a similar problem with my Lexus. The check engine light keeps coming on. (I know, it's a car but bear with me, it's computer related). I have a diagnostic tool that reads the codes so every time it comes on I read the code. It's the SAME code. Has to do with the Emission control (don't know if you folks have to deal with that PITA stuff there). I took it too a reputable garage and they replaced everything that could possibly cause that message except the engine computer that sends the signal. The car passed the emissions test, the light goes off for a while then randomly comes back on. The garage owner told me to either replace the computer, a needless 3000+ expense, or ignore the light, have a cup of STFU and wait to see if the car blows up. It's been about 5000 miles and nothing has blown up. I guess that translates better face to face than over the internet lol, but the message is the same.

Sometimes computers do screwy things and give off screwy messages when nothing is wrong. When the check engine light comes on now, I hook of the tool, see the same stupid message and then reset it.

Yeah i use to play C&C on my old P4 3.4 Ghz PC with the ATI x700 video card. I use to have to turn all the details down.
When i got my new PC and started playing it again i finally got to see how amazing it looks and plays!

So i was reading through some EVGA forums the other day and realized that i had this black little fan sitting around which i thought was a cheap CPU fan thrown in wiht the Motherboard, just for the hell of it...

Boy was i wrong. Turns out it's a fan for the Northbridge and my brother never installed it.
So i popped the system open and installed it.

Btw, the sytem's been running cooler than previously. Thanks to the help you guys provided me with.

ah, yea, some NB chipsets need cooling, but most are fine as long as they have a heatsink.

yeah it has that huge triangular dome on top, but i thought i'd slap on the fan anyways. Never hurts to run it cool.

All i need now is NZXT to send me the one fan that doens't work which is placed right above the CPU.
They said that they sent it, but that was over 3 weeks ago and i keep emailing them, just simply don't write back anymore.
