hello all,

just wiould like to know what connections each of the folling connect to on the motherboard please

Dvd drives
Hard drives
ram
graphics card ( its having two 512mb card connects to the pci expressx16 slots i think just anna make sure)

Easiest way would be to look in the instruction manual. Google for it if you don't have it.

Be more specific with what motherboard you have got and I could help you more.

it has 1 hdd at the mo a tv card in a pci slot and 2 512mb graphics cards in the express pci i think and 2 dvd writers just wondered how many more hdd drives i can have

Well it has 4 SATA ports so you could technically have up to four hard drives. The SATA ports are the little black slots.

This is only if the 2 DVD writers use the IDE channels. These are the wide white slots with a ribbon cable from them. These could also be used for hard drives as long as you brought IDE hard drives.

It has 5 more PCI slots so you should have 4 spare if you only have a TV tuner.

And it has four RAM slots so it depends on how many RAM slots you have at the moment. The RAM slots are in a bank and are about 15 CM long.

i have 4 1 gb ram cards in so they are all used up and the dvd drives are both ide and the hard drive is a 250mb sata drive thats great as long as i can add more hard drive in the future and add a blue ray drive in the future when thay are cheaper???

5 pci fort it only had two, and 2 express x16 pci which have the grapic cards in and a pci expressx1

I can't remember now but I think the spec sheet said it had 3 PCI 1.1 slots and 2 PCI 2.0 slots. Can't remember for sure though.

You have plenty of space for future upgrades. If you ever needed more RAM you would have to swap 1 GB cards for 2 GB ones.
