There are 2 power slots on my motherboard. One is a 4-pin input that says PW1 next to it, the other is the main 20-pin connector labeled PW2. When ONLY PW2 is connected, fans, peripherals, and what not all turn on, and stay on, but there is nothing outputted by my video card.

When BOTH PW1 and PW2 are connected, the motherboard turns on for a split second and then shuts down; almost like someone cut the power.

I tested the motherboard with every hardware configuration (1 stick of ram, bare bones, etc). I tested both PSUs I have and both work perfect. One is even brand new. I even have the entire board sitting on a piece of cardboard to make sure it isn't shorting out on the tower. The speaker is connected to the mobo and doesn't make any sounds.

I'm running out of ideas here. Any help?

My System:
Soltek k8-an2e-gr nforce 250gb main board
Amd Athlon 2800+
2x512mb Corsair RAM
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro.

Old system, but it was working like a gem until recently.

Currently using a brand new Logisys 575W PSU. The other one I have is a 500W PSU that came with my case.

Like I said, I tested PSUs and both of them work perfectly except in my build.

Yes. They work. They also produce the same results when in my PC. It's not the PSUs

"Logisys" isn't exactly the best PSU brand but..CPU fan spinning?

Yeah, when the motherboard turns on, I mean. Does the fan spin up for that split second?

Yes it does. Everything turns on for a split second including the CPU fan, other fans, video card, etc.
