| No, you can use slower ram on whatever board you want. On AMD it's on the CPU anyway.

| I've installed the motherboard you suggested Carbon, along with the Phenom fx3 processor along with 3 gigs of the 667 memory I had and everything is working great on win xp home! I plan to get better ram when funds allow but for now, it's fine. Thanks for the great tip! |
