| Sorry, I was being terribly rude. It can't be that old, it's got an AGP socket and a small PCI on the edge.

| The picture seems decent enought for me NOT TO find anything that looks like a connection for bringing USB ports to the front of your system...

Basically, you would be looking for a block of 7 pins on your mobe (one row of 3 pins and one row of 4 pins right under that). They would usually be on the opposite site from where the CPU is (i.e. in the area of the IDE connectors and such. Cheers: Chris. My System: Willy Wonka's Polygon Factory

| I can imagine uses for it but you can scarcely let it loose on the Internet these days. Well... okay, you can but not near pictures. I spend some time sat at a 266MHz mmx tokamook with a maxed-out 64MB most days and it behaves impeccably, considering. I type on it, it weighs just over a pound, it's ten years old and Firefox 2 manages perfectly well calling up pages over the wifi card. Go on - what do you do with the 486? I never actually owned one but I kept more running than I like to remember. |

| It's just collecting dust at the moment. I'll probably get it running at some point, I think I still have Windows 3.1 on there.

| I'm beating you on that one man... SinclairZX Spectrum and a Commodore 64, still running. My ZX81 is currently boxed up but it's still fully functional as well. |

| The trick is keeping them in use. I saw my lad playing Chuckie Egg this morning, he looked sheepish when he noticed me noticing. |
