Have used their boards a few times
always seem reliable but but not very good in the o/c stakes
Id hate to see anyone of these guys go,
their all good m/b makers in theire own right
and would prefer to think this credit crunch will divert people from buying a prebuilt system and opt for the cheaper alternative and build it themselves
so ensuring the life of these makers of our hand built system we love so much

i think that MSI themselves will die out. I never thought that they were as good as GB or asus. Although, i do have a geforce MX440 from them and it still works...

My Pentium 4 on a 478 socket is on an MSI motherboard, never had 1 problem with it, excellent company. If one of them does die out then I'd say ECS, never heard much about them where as Asus, Gigabyte and MSI make a multitude of products to high standards

I'd say ECS. I know I had a few friends that have it and their experiences have been horrible. My brother had a couple ECS boards back then, and it kept dying. Quality is horrible.

ECS or MSI to go!

Definatly not Asus.

If you do something even as simple as look at their coorporate logos, you can clearly see that Asus is keeping modern and well up with the times, whereas MSI looks like they havn't been at the top of the game since the late '80's, kinda like Amstrad, but they always made crap stuff.

Well all i can say is i have never had any trouble with the gigabyte boards, with the asus had one fail on me but not so bad, as got it replaced straight away,
As for msi never liked their boards, just dont feel right, and as for ecs never had a problem, ok, cheap boards and not really any potential to overclock,
so if any had to go id choose eeeeeeeeeeeeemmmmmmmmmmmm
msi to go bust

I have had an MSI board for many years now and it has never done me wrong. As far as I can tell they're as reliable as a wood burning stove, some people are just unlucky I guess!

For any, I'd say ECS to go bust..

I hope MSI go. I don't like their boards at all and they are always a pain when you need a return.

Asus and Gigabyte are IMO at the top at the moment, but they all push the standard up.
