can anyone tell me why this cpu is that EXPENCIVE!?

Default Over priced?
The price is so high because they're not made anymore by AMD. So the market is smaller, and a smaller market always demands a premium. Much in the same way as AGP graphics cards (although these are still made).

In all seriousness you have to love Ebay. Bargains abound.

Even commanding a premium, that cpu is very overpriced. You can get an E6850 for cheaper.

Stuff like that almost persuades people to upgrade their whole rig rather than just the cpu.
