Default Overclocking AMD 4800+ X2

Ok,I have an AMD 4800+ X2,each core is at 2.5Ghz,with stock cooling how far could i overclock it,and after i get some Zalman aftermarket cooling,How far could i overclock it then?

Also,My BIOS is locked,so what would be the best way to overclock it?

To be honest, the best thing to do would be to buy a new motherboard, and I'm not sure if your chip is S939 or AM2, but if its 939 expect about 2.7-2.8 if your lucky and if you are AM2 say about 2.9-3.0+ if you have a good board, cooler and ram!

Software overclocking is seriously unstable and may not even work with your mobo, I suggest getting a new motherboard if you want to overclock

I'm not sure if they are reasonable prices in Australia, but I hope so:)
