hi guys this is my first time EVER overclocking and the reason for wanting to overclock is that my cpu is coming up to the end of its life eg. games not yet, but games in the futher will be to powerfull for cpu so thats why i want to overclock the trouble is i havnt got a cpu/heatsing cooler but ive got 6 case fans. what you guys think

Athlon CPUs (well, 4xxx through 6xxx) aren't very good overclockers. Wouldn't expect much.
