Default Please give me an advice

Hey all! I have a problem, but I don't know how to solve it.

My computer is a little bit old, and is working too slow when I surf internet and use messenger, it keeps me for so long to something I want. I don't have much money to buy a new computer, but I do have money to add ore change for example the RAM memory. But should I? If I buy a new RAM Memory, will it work faster?

My computer is Pentium III, 651 MHz, 120 MB RAM.

Please give me some help

Yes. I don't know how you'd manage with only 128MB ram! Thankfully, your computer is very old so memory is probably very cheap and will help the problems you talk about. Going to 512mb RAM will be a huge difference.

Thanks. So with these capacities of my computer, it is going to show a huge difference if I buy 512 MB RAM? Someone I know who sells computers, have told me it will show no difference (sounded to me a little bit odd though), that's why I need you guys to give me some advices, because if I buy 512 MB RAM memory, and if it doesn't work ... I just hope it will.

It will certainly give you a huge difference. P3 may be old, but if you're having a problem multi-tasking, the 128 will slow you down a lot more than the CPU.
