I have a PC that keeps turning off for no apparent reason. It will turn off when being used, and then not turn on again for about 30 minutes. I have replaced the power supply, and am considering the CPU is over heating. It has a Pentium 4 3. GHZ CPU and is only about 3 years old. Any ideas what the porblem could be?

Well, you could download a program like Intel Thermal Analysis Tool or Coretemp to figure out the temperature. Sounds like overheat to me.

CPU fans clog with dust and stop performing, clean it out and that should make things better.
