Only one way you can make a cpu faster, and that's by overclocking.

First thing you have to do is see if your motherboard supports it.
Download Everest from the downloads section to identify your motherboard.

Not just the mobo, you'll need a half decent bios.

If your pc is one you've purchased from a builder such as Packard Bell or Dell (etc) then you may have some problems as a lot of pc builders lock out options in the bios enabling you to overclock.

For pointers, you may find this helpful
