Is this prob my motherboard?

Hi,

I have a MSI K9NGM? motherboard which has the latest bios etc and im running vista ultimate. I have a couple of probs with the baord so im replacing it but i have another problem which id like to know if its down to the motherboard.

For the second time now ive shut down my computer correctly and its turned off but when i turn it on, instead of it loading windows i just says press f10 to restore. That does nothing.

Ive had a new power supply, harddrive and its still doing it

Could be the CMOS battery on the m/b needs replacing? It is a CMOS restore?
