Hi,

I have tryed installing a 1gb stick of ram with the old removed but when i switch on the computer i just get a bleep and wont boot the ram is a kingston 5300 pc2240 dimm its the right ram i have been told off 3 people

what's your motherboard, etc? Does it still boot if you put the old RAM back in?
