Default Problems with overclocking

Hi!

I have this kind of problem for years now. Whenever I reinstall Windows XP Pro my AMD 2400+ processor (2000Mhz) downgrades itself to 1800+ (1500Mhz).
When I bought this PC 4 years ago in a computer store the processor was 2400+ with a speed of 2000Mhz. But later I reinstalled Windows for some reason and after the installation I noticed that my CPU is running on the wrong speed. Then I surfed on the internet and spending weeks on forums to find an answer, but I didn't. Then later a friend of mine found a PC magazine in which was an article where a tech guy explained how to overclock a CPU like mine to the speed of 2000Mhz. Then it worked. I can remember, I went to the BIOS and changed the FSB to 133. Then restarted my PC and it worked. I don't know exactly if it was switched to 133, but I think it was. This happened about three years ago. But now if I set the FSB to 133, my computer restarts for no reason. Without an error message. Only a "Send error report to Microsoft" after rebooting the system.
Since that I had to reinstall Windows again a few times because of viruses and other software problems. My last formatting was about six months ago.

I don't have problems with anything. Every application is working fine, but it's slower and I don't like it that it's not running on the right speed. However, maybe It's causing a problem.
I know this doesn't belong in this category, but It think it has to do something with my processor.
So, I'm having a problem connecting my PC with the TV set, and some people said it has to be a problem with the PC (not with the TV). I know how to connect these two devices because I've done it a dozen times, but for a year now I'm unable to do it and I have a feeling that it has to do something with my processor. A person said it has to be with the memory (which is impossible) or with the processor.

Default Problems with overclocking

hi m8
basically the cpu u have 1800+Tbred which was often o/c to 2000(Mhz) and has a prob max266(Mhz) fsb max
think the prob is now, its been o/c too long and is now throttling back to preserve its self
so youve seen the best of the cpu m8
