I'm having trouble deciding on which computer to buy because both have a different processor. The one has AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ and the other Intel Pentium D 820 Dual-Core. I'm using it pretty much for gaming. Playing World of Warcraft and Counter-Strike. Which is better?

Thanks

Definately the AMD, it has the more efficient architecture for gaming.

P4's, regardless of model, are lousy gaming cpu's.

Agreed. I used to play counter-strike source on my old computer and it has a AMD 2600 and it was perfectly capable should be run nicely on newer models.
