Today I found out that my mother board did not support the processor I currently have. The mother board I have is a GA-MA78G-DS3H rev. 1.0, which said supported Phenom processors but a year later (today) I found it didn't support the AMD 9850 Quad Core Phenom. I was wondering if this would cause several different types of BSOD's, the inability to run Memtest86, and does it have an effect on the performance? Is there other problems that can be caused by this also? Any and all help will be welcomed.

In what way does it not support it?

As long as it's not a different socket I hink it should be ok.

It's probably just that the CPU wasn't released when they made the mobo and wrote the spec.
