Q6600 Cooling, Heatsink?

hey when scan gets the evga 8800 ultra back in i am going to order a cpu cooler and thermal past for the cpu, but just need a few views on what would be best, preferably max cooling with not to much noise and i dont mind spending about 40-50

Standard cooler does me and my overclock just fine.

id rather have a decent 3rd party one as i am oc'ing this baby as high as she can fly

I only said that as you said you don't want much noise, the two don't really go together.

As with my overclock I doubt heat will be the issue, CPU voltages and RAM stability will.

Very well thanks, it's @ 3.4 and stable.

Any more and I have to up the CPU voltages above what I have been told is a safe amount and the RAM gets unstable too.

It's happy where it is right now.

Yeah games look great and play fast, Crysis still eats resources like mad but everything else you can hike up.

i cant beluive i am building a 1600 pound system to play crysis and haven't even tried it yet haha

Oh and these are preferred by most for aftermarket CPU cooling.

Crysis is great, can only run it on 12x10, medium detail and no AA though.

It needs 8800 SLI to max it.

I have a 6000x2 with 320mb 8800gts oc2 and I can play crysis on medium to slightly high settings, but it usually depends on whether my rig can be arsed to.
