Hi, when using this program, do I take the Dram Timings number and double it to get the speed my ram is running at using dual channel memory? if so, being set to auto in bios my G.SKILL 1066 is being auto set to 800mhz. but, in CPU-Z under memory tab, it says 490mhz due to increased FSB speed which, if doubled would be 980mhz. since in bios the ram is auto set to 400/800 is this considered a safe OC. since the ram is rated at 1066mhz? trying my first overclocking Thanks

I wouldn't worry about it if it's running fine. It sounds like it's overclocking proportionally and overriding the BIOS, which is okay. I'm pretty sure Core 2 will push the FSB if it needs to even if the memory is set to a lower value just to bring it up to speed with the processor.

The stock fsb was 200mhz I have it set to 245 right now on the Phenom triple core 8650 which ran 2.3ghz stock but, is now running at 2.8ghz. the cpu temp. is 32C as I type running on Firefox and idles around 28-29C. if I don't have any problems with the 4 gigs.of G.skill 1066mhz. ram, maybe it will be alright for my uses. Thanks very much!

Sounds alright to me. Note that Phenom X3s have really high multipliers, you probably won't ever hit 1066. Temps look more than fine, push it harder if you want.

Yeah, I might experiment a little more and maybe learn more about OC. Thanks!
