I want to ask you guys some questions about memory ram.

here is the information i found from my product specification.

maximum supported: 4 GB (2x2GB)
Speed supported: PC2-5300 MB/sec
type: 240 pin, DDR2 SDRAM

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...roduct=3552366
above is the product specification website

now, i figure it's time for me to upgrade my pc so.... i want to buy a pair of 2x2GB ram... but i dont know which one i needed to buy....
even though it says speed supported is pc2 5300.... but can i still buy something like this: <4GB kit (2GBx2) / 240-pin DIMM / DDR2 PC2-6400 memory module> or <DDR2 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400 800MHz / Non-ECC CL5 / 240-pin / Unbuffered DIMM /

(well, i know that my vista 32 bit wont support all the 4GB...but is it bad for me?)

i found these two down here might be something that's good for me right now....

Carbon or Serverguy I think made the point to me that even though your Vista 32 can't see all 4 GB's it WILL see about 3.5 which is much better than two. i can't answer the rest, sorry.

That last set is fine, as well as a good price.

Faster memory should work at the lower bus speed, so you should be OK with the speed being a little higher than your motherboard supports.

No, I'd grab it, if it wasn't the Fry's price i'd say go get it off NewEgg but that's about as cheap as you'd get it there.
