Default Quick RAM Question?
hi,

I just want to double check something.

I took a 1GB RAM stick out of my sisters computer don't no what make or anything as it was custom built by some guy and put 2GB in instead and it works perfectly.

My friend got a new desktop but only has about 500MB of RAM can I put the 1GB from my sisters computer in my friends with the 500MB and it work ok? Would I have to change anything like voltage because I dont no what it would be.

Maybe .... but we would need to know what PC it is going into and what Ram it is .... not enough specific info to give you a specific answer.

Its DDR2 RAM. All I can tell you at the moment its a Acer im at work so I wont no till I ask.
