Nope, no drivers needed. Just plug it in

Ensure your motherboard supports the type and speed though.

RAM doesn't need a driver because the OS doesn't use it. the actual computer does. You will also notice this if you have a USB keyboard and you are in the BIOS screen. It works, regardless if it is installed onto the OS.

Not entirely straighforward. The BIOS should tell you you have changed the amount of RAM and that is fine, but some PCs insist on you doing a "slow start" to check it. (ie, disable quick start in the BIOS)
