| I was wondering if someone could give me a litttle advice on upgrading my Ram ? I have a Mesh Computer with an AMD 64 X2 Dual core 4200+ , Asus A8N-SLI deluxe board which as far as i know can take 4GB of ram . Installed at present is 1Gb of "512mb Hymd564 64688J-D43 " according to my spec sheet . I would like to get 4 pieces of 1Gb but i have a feeling that might be very expensive , or maybe 2 x 1GB .. not too sure which way to go ... I do like to use the flight simulator alot though ..... so any thoughts would be much appreciated . ![]() |

| 2x1gb would be your best bet, XP only supports upto 3gigs anyway so 4 would be pretty useless DDR400(PC3200) is the max supported for your motherboard This would be perfect for your motherboard and cost about £70, I think Crucial also comes with a lifetime warranty

| If you are running the 64bit version of Vista that only supports upto 3.5Gigs of RAM and the 32bit only supports up to 3gigs, so 4gigs is pretty useless
