I was wondering if someone could give me a litttle advice on upgrading my Ram ?

I have a Mesh Computer with an AMD 64 X2 Dual core 4200+ , Asus A8N-SLI deluxe board which as far as i know can take 4GB of ram . Installed at present is 1Gb of "512mb Hymd564 64688J-D43 "
according to my spec sheet .

I would like to get 4 pieces of 1Gb but i have a feeling that might be very expensive , or maybe 2 x 1GB .. not too sure which way to go ... I do like to use the flight simulator alot though ..... so any thoughts would be much appreciated .

2x1gb would be your best bet, XP only supports upto 3gigs anyway so 4 would be pretty useless
DDR400(PC3200) is the max supported for your motherboard
This would be perfect for your motherboard and cost about £70, I think Crucial also comes with a lifetime warranty

If you are running the 64bit version of Vista that only supports upto 3.5Gigs of RAM and the 32bit only supports up to 3gigs, so 4gigs is pretty useless
