Ok, I'm gonna go for either:

2 of this - Kingston HyperX 1066MHz 4GB DDR2 non-ECC CL7

or this Kingston 8GB(2x4GB) ECC 667MHz DDR2

The second is £40 cheaper, but slower and it's ECC instead of non-ECC, but I have no idea what ECC is!! So I don't know which is better, or if there is a certain ECC which wouldn't work with my sysetm?

Ah don't worry, read into it more and realised the first one is actually 2x2GB... despite it not saying its a kit and only one module being pictuerd.. thanks a lot Misco...

You running 64bit Windows? Otherwise forget getting 8GB.

ECC!!??? DONT GET ECC! they are for servers. they stand for Error Correcting RAM. that are un-Godly slow. and it would be a very bad choice to get.

ECC is Error checking and correcting and you need a compatible mobo to take it.
