| A friend has given me his computer and i want to upgrade the RAM. The computer is a: AMD Athlon (TM) Xp 2000+, MMX, 3dnow, 1.7ghz, 256 RAM. I've gone on crucial but cant find Athlon in the drop down list, and since the computer isnt connected to the internet (im on works computer at the moment), i cant do a scan. How do i find out what type of ram will fit my computer as i want to upgrade to 1gig? Or do i have to open it up and check whats already in? |

| You could also grab a copy of Everest Home from the Downloads section of this site ... it's under System Information. This should tell you what motherboard you have.
