Default RAM problem

Recently I got a problem with RAM. The computer just doesn't get started and I always see the blue screen. Installed os again and again without result.

Finally replacing RAM solved it. What could be cause for this?

I am thinking that not having an ground connection for the power system could be one reason. Or the aging of RAM itself. But it was so sudden without gradual degradation.

Ok, what OS are you using first of all?
and what do you mean by "blue screen"? BSOD?

How long have you had the RAM for before it became a nuisance?
