| I have 2gb of 800mhz, and 2gb of 400mhz. I don't know much about how RAM sticks work with eachother, so I'm wondering if I would be better off using all 4 gigs, or if I should just use the 800mhz. Thanks |

| If you mix different RAM sticks, they will probably work together, but all of your RAM will run at the speed of the lowest module.

Also unless you are running a 64 bit OS such as XP64 or Vista 64, only 3gb will be utilised anyway, so my advice would be stick to the 2 fastest sticks and put the others on ebay ![]() My System: Home Build
