Sounds like a winning combo to me. Confused G31 with G43, sorry, the old budget boards used to be called G31s and so I assumed this was one of those older ones. G/P43 chipset is great.

Aha! I recognize that one, was looking for a nice smaller onboard video board a few days ago for a client and passed that one by because it didn't have firewire. Excellent value for the money, ICH10 southbridge is nice, integrated video is pretty powerful, Wolfdales out of the box. Don't hesitate, looks like a winner to me. Should volt at whatever you need for the RAM as well, ASRock makes a lot of overclocking motherboards and their BIOS is fantastic, so voltage settings will be easy if you grab something that runs at like 2.0+V and it doesn't work out of the box.

Just want to be sure this works with this board since I will not be gaming.I don't want to tweek any timings or voltages if I don't have to.
