Hey Guys & Ladies

In my currently so rubbish PC at the moment I have Corsair DDR2 XMS2 PC6400 2GB Memory.
However with my Abit Fatal1ty FP - IN9 Overclocked system Bus I thought i might aswell wack up my memory speeds too
I Have looked all over the most popular sites to find some great memory for my PC. Atleast 2GB and over 1000MHz (PC-8500+).
Well usually I do all my research to see which is better in performance and well well looks in this case too.

I have came across 2 types of memory which i just cant make my mind up on
Here They Are:
Corsair 2GB DDR2 1066MHz PC2-8500 XMS2 Dominator Memory.
OR
Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2GB DDR2 1066MHz PC2-8500 Dual Channel Memory.

I have never experienced with kind of memory before, or until last week i never seen Tracer memory with its flashy LED Lights and nice blue glow.
So can anyone help me make my mind up, which one seems to perform better?

Thanks very much to everyone

You don't need it.

You will see no performance increase and unless you are running into a FSB wall there is no reason to buy new memory.

I prefer Corsair, but thats just a matter of opinion.

You want to choose the ones with the lowest latency timings.

Either is good.

EDIT: Just saw Carbons post, and I have to say I agree. Theres no point in upgrading.

I hadn't thought of your question in that way.

Like Carbon said, unless you are running into a wall with your overclocking because the RAM isn't fast enough, there is no need to go higher, there is no extra performance gain from having RAM running faster than the FSB speed. As for which one I think it best, I think the Corsair is better, that is only because I feel that Corsair make very good products, so unless you are dying to have flashing LED's on your RAM, go with the Corsair RAM.
