    hi all

i have an odd problem. There are two applications in task manager that are not showing any ram usage. the filed is blank but it is populated for all other applications that are running. Also both apps have a space in front of them - has anyone seen this before? pic of task manager is attached.

    thanks

I'm no malware expert but I believe au600.exe may be malware related, a quick Google search came up with lots of links that were marked as unsafe by my website ratings add-on (WOT)

As for wowexec.exe I believe it is executed as soon as any 16-bit application is run (like an old game), but continues to reside and run in the background even after the application is closed, you should be able to safely end this process.

Let us know a little more about your set up, what operating system are you using, and what type of anti virus do you use?

Thanks Linux but the au600.exe is actually the name of an application that we are running.

RAMMap might give you a better idea of what's going on.

I found a solution for this problem. All that you have to do is:

    1. Open Control Panel
    2. Click Change keyboard or other input methods
    3. Click Formats tab on top
    4. Click Customize Formats/Additional Settings
    5. Click Reset
    6. Click Apply then OK
    7. Restart Computer

Now after restart try opening Task Manager and see if helped. This resetting solved the exact same problem for me.
