When putting two sticks of ddr2 in the same color sockets on motherboard, do both sticks have to be the same size such as 2 1gb. sticks or, with all other specs the same can one stick be 1gb. and the other be a 2gb. stick and still, get dual channel performance? Thanks!

Nope they have to be matching sticks, different sizes/speeds will not work together
