Default Running kinnda hot?

i have an intel p4 3ghz for lga775 and it running really hot? 50c thats was what it was running when i was running on stock cooling but then upgraded to artic freezer pro 7 cooling and its the same what could it be? im not doing much just internet ...

its a safe temp dont get worried but what therman paste did you use? have a look at some arctic silver

ok thanks cause i want to overclock it a bit to and i was worried it would burn out if i did if it was that hot on default clock but i used the stuff that came with it which was articic silver i think it was perappliade

its not arctic silver i can tel you that its more linek wax, get some silver and you will lower your temps by 5-10 degrees :0
