| The rumors are that an iBook with Intel chips may be available as early as January, so I would wait at this point. If Apple doesn't announce one at MacWorld in January then you can make up your mind about how long to wait. |

| If you need a machine now, buy it now. If you can wait then wait. As soon as you invest in technology it will be outdated in a matter of months anyway, regardless of it being Apple or PC.Think about your needs, not what you are missing out on by not waiting. If you wait for the better machine you will be waiting for ever. |
