I have AC5 applied to my Arctic Cooler 7 Pro and I used to idle at 31c, but now, when I turn my PC on, it's running at 37c, and it doesn't seem to go any lower, my blinds have been shut all night so I can't see how the sun could be heating it up, What do you make of this?

What are your ambient temps? the room you have the comp in may just be hotter these days
Or you could try reapplying the AS5 or maybe you HSF has gotten clogged up with dust

Remember also to use AS5(I assume thats what you mean)sparingly.See here for instructions.
Using too much will only inhibit heat transfer.
Remember aswell that AS5 can take up to 200 hours to cure and for you to see the full benefits.

The only reason, I can see is, that your fans are clogged up with dust. Both your cooler fans and CPU fan. Try to rub them off and then observe the temperature, it sure is gonna come down.

make sure your CPU fan is not touching the metal plating.

i had a similar problem where a computer i was working on was getting too hot and then shutting down.

I traced it back to the cpu fan touching the metal contact plate. So I removed the fan and put some more Silicon on it.

Now it works fine.
