Well I'm still using me old computer whilst I get everything I want onto my new computer. However for some reason now, it takes ages to get through the BIOS, I can boot them both up at the same time, and can boot up and log into windows on my new machine before my old one has left the BIOS, it gets stuck just after it says "Memory running at Dual Channel Interleaved" but before it pops up saying "detecting IDE devices" but the rest of it goes fine. I think it started happening about when I removed my DVD drive from the computer for my brother to use because he managed to break his

So is it trying to still find the DVD drive or something? If so, how do I stop it from doing so?

go into bios setup and enable quick boot

Have you got any IDE devices in your system?
If not, disable the IDE Controller. It will be in Onboard Devices or something. The thing that is causing the slow boot, is that it is looking for IDE devices.
