| Go with the INTEL I am just about a genius when it comes to computers. Intel is the best you can get + Core 2 duo is faster then the speed of light.Trust Me I have It. |

| If you would like to do mostly office work, running applications like Dreamweaver and Visual Basic and requires a platform where you need more support like bios upgrades and able to use linux and Virtual machines etc. then core 2 duo E4300 is good. But if you need high speed rendering work like using 3d Max, maya, or autocad and even gaming then go with AMD 64X2.okAMD would be more 64 bit compatible than Core 2 duo in the future. |

| I'm a core2 user and fan myself but at stock speeds the AMD cpu has more grunt than the E4300 in reallife applications; gaming, dvd-encoding etc.
