Try www.ebuyer.com they do the type your after and its a much better idea buying from a large company who will honor a warranty then buying on eBay

ah ok thank you, do you have any ideas on the PC2 numbers do they need to be the same to work on my motherboard?

The PC2 numbers denote how fast the RAM is, motherboards only accept certain speeds.

You will need to check you motherboard manual or look on the manufacturers website to see the MAX speed it will accept.

If in doubt buy the same as you already have.

IE: 2x 1GB PC2-4200

ok just found this infomation on a website my computers a packard bell imedia mc 2569.

Notes: MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED in pairs for Dual Channel mode.

Two posts up you said you have PC2-4200, if you are unsure run this program and it will tell you what RAM you have.

Regardless if you want to run faster RAM than you have you need to ask Packard Bell if you computer supports it.

Personally I'd stick with what speed you have, the gains you will notice are slim.
