| I already have a 256MB SODIMM PC100 card in my laptop but want to upgrade it to 512MB as its getting a bit slow. I have found a supplier but the card is 512MB RAM SODIMM PC133. Will that make much difference ? thanks Dean |

| It should work fine, but there is a chance your motherboard will not support the slightly higher speed and it wont work.

| I think the PC133 specification is for boards that have CPU's that are 933MHZ and above ? My CPU is 797 MHz. |

| Nope, PC133 RAM is for motherboards that run PC133 RAM. It's about bus speeds not CPU speeds. Most mobos that run PC100 RAM will run PC133 fine. |
