I want to upgrade my sony vaio CR363's RAM...
currently 2 GB is present

i want it to upgrade upto 4GB
it is advisable to do that
and if yes what are the option in buying it???

What operating system are you using? Because if you are using XP it wont recognise 4 anyway

it is now come with Vista home premium
and why this is case if it is a XP then it wont recognize it!!

This is kind of misleading, but ultimately correct - you won't get the full 4GB if you are running a x86 OS, but you'll certainly get more addressable memory (somewhere around 3.25-3.75GB).
